It’s easy to look to the numbers for an answer. (Point to bar chart) If you send your child to college, he or she will probably earn more than 1 _ times what a high school graduate would earn. If your son or daughter is lucky enough to go to grad school, they are likely to earn twice as much.
But we all know that the value doesn’t stop there. Having a college education can give your child access to opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have -- opportunities to discover a field of study that they really enjoy, to get hired by a company they really want to work for. In that respect, the value of college education is really priceless.
